Pierre et Lumière is one of the most beautiful "troglodyte" sites in Saumur. You will travel the equivalent of 200 kilometers, in Anjou then in Touraine and discover around twenty sculptures representing the most beautiful monuments of the Loire Valley carved out of tufa stone.
This underground miniature park was born from the meeting of two passionate men: Yann Bouchard had the idea, Philippe Cormand knew how to sculpt.
A lover and a native of the region, Yann Bouchard is passionate about construction. His idea was to present the most beautiful monuments of the Loire Valley, at the very heart of the material of their construction.
Philippe Cormand is from Brittany. He carves stone, wood and ice. He has been awarded in many international competitions but it is certainly to Pierre et Lumière that he gave the most full measure of his talent.
